Spectacular set of five medium plates in bone china, green and gilded border, each plate is enamelled with a different floral pattern of the Georgian style; antique English 1830s.

Condition: some surface wear, scratched, floral enamel worn

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
